A company needed a solution to respond to high volumes of emergency notifications during crisis situations. They sought the assistance of Technigent to develop a comprehensive Android application where users can notify the Fire Department about an emergency. The application is also used by firemen to locate their destination on a map, allowing them to reach the emergency site faster and more reliably. For residents, this app would help them to receive the help they need fast and notify emergency quickly. The app provides a details page to get directions to the nearest firehouse through the Google Maps app, or the user can call 911 from the app itself.
